Think Pink

Breast Cancer Awareness Hickey.
Hickeys go on your neck & so do our scarves.
Wear a hickey - bring awareness.

This Hickey is made from Bernat yarn.

Bernat is proud to contribute $30,000 to Susan G. Komen for the cure through the purchase of yarn in the Knit & Crochet for Breast Cancer collection.

The Susan G. Komen Foundation is the leader in the breast cancer movement by supporting the research to cure this disease. The foundation is constantly finding new partners and sponsers to generate funds to support their cause. The Susan G. Komen Foundation is the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.

Normally I'm a Made in U.S.A type of girl. But today I'm a Made In America girl. This yarn was Made in Canada.

Taking a break already

I feel like the last few days my Mac has been my bff. So I have decided to take a break.

Last month being breast cancer awareness month all the proceeds from this pink yarn are being donated to the cause. So I'm endeavoring to turn these into beautiful works of art.

My first week at.. what do we call this?

My very first week setting up my online shop window. My week has gone by so quickly I feel like I have achieved nothing on my check list.

List:
1) Figure out how to monetize awesome.
2) Set up Etsy account.
3) Set up Paypal.
4) Set up Blog.
5) Continue to create products to be sold.
6) Work full time as well as work other part time random jobs.
7) Create business cards.
8) Pay attention to my husband.
9) Once products are created, display them with pizazz.
10) Sleep!!!

So far.... I'm doing just ok with this list. I'll check back with you too ensure I'm still alive.

This is a sample of my first time using photoshop. The colors are all realistic. The only thing I did was to make the black & white so the colors stood out. My sister Noelle so graciously let me use her for this photo shoot.

Wish me luck!
